BNH establishes cooperation with and only with authenticated and outstanding grazing lands and processing factories. Throughout all seasons of the entire year, cattle from Uruguay are active in unconstrained natural environment and well-preserved grazing lands. Non-polluted soil and water sources are natural advantages to produce high quality beef. In order to maintain sustainable productive system, the Uruguay government ensures that animals live in a diverse range of flora and fauna. The local government has been strictly controlling the quality of the origin of cattle such as the grazing lands, water sources, health of plants. And also strongly prohibits the usage of growth hormones, inspects the production system of cattle, safety of slaughter, packaging systems, etc.
Healthy:
Raising grass-fed cattle in free-range, giving them no hormones, no antibiotics, and no animal protein are reasons you choose BNH. According to a research by the University of Georgia, grass-fed cattle in Uruguay has low levels of fat, but high percentage of good fats such as cholesterol which reduce mono and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Approved Certificate :
Our products have fully passed the certification of Electronic Information System of the Meat Industry (SELLC), which is an intensive traceability system developed by The National Meat Institute (INAC). It tracks the process from the very beginning of source until the final product. SELLC can effectively collect the identity code information, slaughter processing information, finished product information and transportation information of the beef cattle. In addition, to prevent importation of inferior meat into the market, INAC has always strictly implied the standards of the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP). Only qualified export beef will receive the certificate of origin, thus food safety management is comprehensively supervised.
